Lee Family

Whoa....it's been almost a month since I have posted!!  I can tell you, I have been working (my day job) A LOT.  SO MANY HOURS.  Let me just tell you, I am now so thankful for my normal hours of about 25-30 hours a week!

For instance....right now I am sitting on my couch, typing this post, decorating my Christmas tree and watching White Christmas, my favorite movie. ever.

So, I wanted to share my last session of the fall with you guys to reminisce on our short, but beautiful fall season!

Meet the Lee family! Oh and by the way, this is my Aunt & Uncle and my 3 adorable cousins :)

This is Xander, their eldest :)

And this is Ian, notice he approves of his pose with a thumbs up :)

And Eli, the youngest of the Lee boys!  Look at those beautiful blue eyes :)

Being a teenager is difficult some times,
but I finally got a smile out of Xander while he was doing this :)

Can you believe this woman has had 3 kids?!?!  Angela, you are so gorgeous!!

This is one of my favorites!  Not only because it' beautiful but because of what is happening in the background....
As we were trying to get this shot....one of the children (who shall remain nameless) yelled across the children filled playground......"MOMMY I HAVE TO POOP!!!!!"  Classic, and memorable.  Just the way I like it :)

Thank you guys for spending some time with me to get these photos!!
I love you guys and couldn't imagine life without you.

Birthdays & Thumbs

For my birthday last month, I got the most adorable homemade card from my great friend in Nashville :)

I normally don't keep cards, but I have looked at this card everyday since I got it to remind me of the great friendship I have with Bethany.  Even though we don't talk very often, we still have an amazing bond with each other and love supporting each other.

And Yes, you see the "Dirty Dozen" vegetables to the far right there :)
Happy Friday!

Special Friends.

I have known the momma of this family since I was a little girl.  When I first met her.....I wanted to be just like her.  She was (and is!) beautiful, loving, and had the best sense of humor EVER.  As just a young women she started out as my mom's assistant and I would write her little notes saying "YOU'RE THE BEST!!!" on post-it notes and stick them all over her computer screen :)  As we both lived our lives, I looked up to her year after year.  I started babysitting their first beautiful baby girl (who is a junior in High School now....WHOA).

What I am trying to say is that I have a huge history with this family.  And I could never, ever, ever express the love and appreciation I have for the support and love they have given me throughout my life.

So what better way then to capture some absolutely timeless and memorable photos of this beautiful family??  Annie--this is my "thanks" for.........everything.
I changed this girls diapers.  Now she is in HS and one of the best actress I have ever seen!  She will go places, I guarantee it.
What a beautiful girl :)

Oh middle children......I kid, I kid :)  This girl is an awesome cheerleader....taking after her mother :)

This girl is a natural in front of the camera.  See this pose on the left?  I turned around and she was standing there striking this pose :)

So much love.

Everyone loves Dad!! :)
Seriously.  So Gorgeous.

Love this family :)

Thank you guys so much!  I had a BLAST :)

Hart Family

This shoot was different than many others I have had...in the fact that it started at 7:30am!! :)  I met the Hart family for a sunrise session a few weeks ago and we had a blast!  Even though it was SUPER early....all 3 of these teenage boys (And mom & dad) were all smiles.

The Harts attend our church and I can tell you that they are such a wonderful example of a Christ centered marriage and family :)  I just ate up all the love they have for each other and how much fun we had together!

This is Evan!  The the youngest of the 3 Hart boys

This is Brandon, the middle child :)  He is a senior this year!

And last but not least, Kyle!  He is the oldest and a Freshman at Purdue this year.....hence everyone wearing Purdue gear :)

Since Brandon is a senior, we took a few extra shots for him :)

The Hart boys love Science.....I caught them doing some science-y with this rock...something to do with the rock falling and how high the water was.
Yes,  I just made up a word.

The kids had to run off to work, so I got a few photos of just mom and dad :)

One last one of the family!

Jim & Robin, thank you so much for meeting me so early in the morning!!
I had a blast with you guys :)

Friends & Love :)

Daniel and I have these friends that live super far away.  But when they got married last month, they decided to have their wedding in Nashville, TN!  Since they have family all over, Nashville was a great middle ground...especially for us since we got to attend!!!

ANYWAY.  They had a carnival themed wedding--which was absolutely awesome.  I knew this ahead of time so of course I took my camera so I could capture all the cool details!  I have never been to a themed wedding before and let me just say, I hope it isn't my last!  So here are a few pictures I got throughout the night.  You should also check out their wedding pictures by their photographer Photography by Susie, she did an awesome job :)

We are so happy for you Aaron & Erica!!! :)

Bryce's 1st Birthday!

A few months ago, I had the privilege of documenting Bryce's 1st Birthday party!! :)  I went to High School with Carly (also a fellow aspiring photographer just like me--visit her page!!) and she called me and asked if I would come join them for this awesome party.  Since she is always behind the camera as a photographer AND a mom....she wanted to be able to enjoy this day without having to worry about taking pictures, etc.  So I glady said yes!  Carly & Derek are also expecting baby # 2 January 31st!! :)

Sports theme was so appropriate for this party....everyone in this family loves sports....including B-Money!  Yes....this is the birthday boy's nick name...it rocks :)

Mom and Dad were the referees :)

B-Money!!!!

Bryce loves his grandma!! :)

Long day of fun!

Carly, thank you so much for letting me a part of this special day!!!  I had a blast, and I can't wait to meet Baby # 2 :)
