Addition.

No, I am not talking about a math problem...although I have started watch NUMB3RS on Netflix.  I  must say, it is amazing!!
But that's not what this post is about!  It's about something exciting!  A few weeks ago, we had an addition to the Howell family :)  Daniel's twin brother, Adam got married and we added a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent lady to the family!  Welcome Natalie, we are so happy to have you as a part of our family and can't wait to see how we will all grow together over the years.

Helping Friends.

A couple of months ago a photographer friend asked me to help him with a wedding up in Michigan.  It was originally supposed to be close to the beach...but severe thunderstorms moved us inside for the ceremony.  But as soon as the ceremony was over...all the storms passed and we headed out to the beautiful beach!! :)

Sessily + Nathan

I walked into the house and Sessily was already beaming with excitement.  As I gathered up all of her details, shoes, veil, dress, rings....I couldn't believe it myself.  Along with it being Sessily & Nathan's wedding day, that meant that this was my first time shooting a wedding.  My FIRST WEDDING!  I was scared to death as I walked around the house getting all the shots I could while they got ready.  But the best part was, that I knew they trusted me to capture this day.  To capture the love between the two of them.  And that was the best feeling ever :) 
So here it is....my first wedding....Sessily & Nathan's wedding day!

Sessily & Nathan opted for a "First Look" which is always a great option!  It takes stress off the rest of the day and gives more time for intimate portraits!

And I want to leave you with this picture.  While waiting for the reception to start, Nathan's grandpa went and developed his camera with all of the photos from the Ceremony.  Here he is showing them off :)  I couldn't help but think this was the sweetest thing ever!

Life Happens!

I know, I know...I have been gone for a little bit!  But like the title of this post indicated, life happens!  There has been a lot going on in the Howell house lately and I can't wait to catch you up on all the photo shoots I have been doing.  I have been helping other photographers with weddings and I also did my own, very first wedding! :)

But just for your enjoyment today, I am going to share some photos of our adorable Chloe.  We were outside the other day and the light was great and she was just so cute, I couldn't resist doing a mini-shoot with her!
