Our sweet girl

I wanted to give you guys an updated on our sweet dog, Chloe :)  I call her my baby girl!

About a month ago, we had a couple of pretty big scares.  One night she woke up and had two Grand Mal seizures (full seizure) in the amount of 2 hours.  We took her into the vet and found out her levels weren't were they needed to be--meaning we weren't giving her enough medication.  So they kept her for a day and observed her and they decided to up her medication dosage.  After that, it was taking her a while to get adjusted to the new dose and she became very irritated, angry and hyper--basically, nothing like herself!  THEN about a week after this happened we woke up in the middle of the night to her having partial seizures.  These aren't as dangerous as full seizures unless they have a large amount of them in a short amount of time.  She had about 6 in the amount of 10 minutes!!! (VERY SCARY)  So I took her to the emergency vet at about 2:00am.  They kept her for the day, gave her some Valium, and monitored her.  They let her go home, and she struggled for about a week to get adjusted.

But I am happy to say that she is finally back to herself again!! :)  Her medication is back on track and we have our sweet little baby girl back who is just as cute as ever!!  She loves to cuddle at the end of the couch and just rest.  Sometimes she gets a little energy and sprints around the house!  But then she goes right back to her place on the couch :)

I will leave you with a picture our or little girl cuddled up on the couch :)

Thankfulness

This past Thanksgiving I tried to focus on what Thanksgiving means.  "Thanks" meaning (for me) acknowledging the blessings the Lord has placed in my life.  Not just material things, but people, relationships, emotions--The Lord has given me all of these wonderful things and let's be honest, we all take them for granted daily.  So, I decided to focus on the "Thanks" part of Thanksgiving and remind myself of all I have to be thankful for.

I will share with you a wonderful memory from Thanksgiving that I will cherish for a long time.  It is all of the women in my immediate family...together :)  My mom, my grandma, and my sister :)  Be thankful today.  Even if you have little-- remember that if you are kept by Christ, you will have everything in eternity!

Marshall Family

Wow, so many things have been going on these past few weeks!!  I will update you on those things a little later... :)  For now, I am going to share a cute family that I met with last month!

I met up with Kim, Josh and their son Dillon last month in Frankfort, IN.  It was fun to catch up with Josh because I actually grew up in the same church as him and haven't seem him for about 8 years!  I had a great time getting to know Kim & Dillon as we took shots around their home.  Kim is about 6 months pregnant and they are excited about the arrival of their baby girl Addison in March :)

Here is the wonderful Marshall Family!

They already have the babies room mostly ready to go, so we got some intimate shots of Kim & Josh.

Adding Dillon into the picture!  Isn't he cute? :)

Mom resting on the couch--something she rarely gets to do!

Dillon was such a great kid!  He was so cooperative and did everything I asked him to do!  He was a dream to work with :)

Then we headed over to a park near their house :)

I will leave you with Dillon having a little fun in the park :)

Kim, Josh & Dillon, thank you so much for having me come document your family at this time in your life!  I had such a great time and you guys were naturals in front of the camera :)  I can't wait for Addison to arrive!
