Rachael - Senior 2012!

Rachael is one of those girls who everyone likes.  She has such a genuine personality and it's just hard to not like someone who is genuine...right??  So when her mom asked me to do her senior portraits, I was delighted to work with such a beautiful girl inside and out :)

So meet Rachael, a Senior at Liberty Christian High School!

Walking outside, playing with my brothers and cousins, trips to see my family, biking, running, going to church, hanging with friends, driving places, listening to music, doing sports

Bride Wars

What TV show do you love?
Little House on the Prairie!! :)

I usually don't finish books. Ha!

What food does your family fix that you will miss while at college?
My dad's eggs! (secret ingredient), my mom's chocolate oatmeal cookies and her bacon!

When you were little, what did you dream of being when you grew up?
An actress!!

Do you have any role models, why?
Yes, so many, Mrs.Kennedy from my school is a lady who loves God, and shows it on a daily basis to her students. She is my class sponsor at school and I've gotten to learn a lot from her, how she loves her family, works for Christ and others, and has a pure heart that seeks God. I've learned so much from her over my years at school with her.

What are your hopes/plans for the future?
I'm going to Mexico this summer for 8 weeks as a missionary helper, then depending on where God leads me, I plan to go to college at AU, major in something that I enjoy, all the while staying involved in the church, looking forward to the future.

What do you want people to remember about you when they look back at your high school years?
That I was someone who represented Christ to others, was fun to be around, that I laughed with them, a good friend, that I made them feel loved and important, that I was encouraging and helpful, that I worked hard, that I set a good example through my actions, that I made a positive impact in their lives, and that God used me in some way to help them grow closer to Himself.

What kind of impact do you want to make on the world today?
I want people to hear about Christ, and to listen and seek him with all of their heart. In all I do, I hope that will be my focus on the world around me. I want to teach people everything I've learned from Bible class, church, my family, and experience about what it means to follow Christ. Everything I do, I want to do it with love for God and others.

Rachael, thank you for all the fun we had and I am so looking forward to seeing what God does in your future! :)
