Cute Dogs and Warm Weather

It was 60 degrees today!!  Hallelujah, Spring is on it's way :)  Since it was so nice today, Daniel and I decided to take a nice walk at Shadyside Park here in Anderson.  We took Chloe with us and I decided to make her my model since the sunset was just so beautiful.  So just a short post tonight to show off our adorable dog, Chloe.  She is so spoiled.  And also....she poses like no other dog I have seen before.  

 I know these last ones are ones people don't normally show--BUT our Chloe is a very, very slow learner.  This is documentation that....she climbed stairs by herself!!!! :)  HUGE accomplishment for her :D

Life

Wow,  things have been a little slow in my blog world lately!   There have been so many things going on since the beginning of 2011--and it is already March....what?!?!  So I am just going to share briefly on what's been going on this year! WARNING: This will be a long post :)

New Job!
Yes, it is true.  I finally got a new job :)  I started back in December and I am absolutely loving it!  I am the store managers assistant at Gaither Family Resources, a resource center filled with wonderful books, home decorations, and a charming cafe with wonderful food! (Shameless plug.....)  I had been searching for a new job for over a year and the Lord finally answered my prayers with this wonderful place!

In January we took another quick trip to see Daniel's brother and his family.  We rarely get to see them so it is always precious time when we are there!  of course I have to show photos.....I got some great ones of Daniel being a awesome uncle :)

The newest addition--Emmarie :)  She is a trouper.  She recently battled the virus RSV.  She was in intensive care for 10 days.  This is a huge scare for our family but the Lord brought her through and she is finally at home recovering. 

Indiana's Distinguished Young Women Program (Indiana's Jr. Miss)

In February I was in involved with the IDYW Program (formally known as Indiana's Jr. Miss).  I started doing choreography for this program a couple of years ago.  I started the State program last year.  This is the oldest scholarship program for high school senior girls in the Nation.  If I told you everything I loved about this program I would be typing for days :)  So anyway--for the State program girls gather in Frankfort, IN for a week to rehearse and prepare for the competition during the week and weekend.  I teach them choreography for the intense physical fitness routine (about 10 minutes long...) and a few other things.  I spent a week with some amazing and accomplished young women and I will never forget them.  I just want to share a few behind the scenes photos I got of them!  I got to know these 24 girls and they got to know me (maybe a little too well! hehe) during that week and I pray that all of these girls accomplish things beyond their wildest dreams :)

So now we are pretty much caught up :)  I have a quite a few sessions coming up, including a wedding I will be posting soon! :)  So stay tuned!

Chloe's Favorite

I just wanted to share this picture of Chloe with you.  Last night I was documenting the cutest that was happening on our couch :)  Chloe was cuddling with Daniel and it was ADORABLE!  I  caught her doing her favorite thing. ever.  Licking her face :)  Now I know this isn't the perfect picture with the perfect light and perfect composition--but it is perfect to me. 

I love how her paw is on Daniel's leg.  She never cuddles with us and this is just a small step of her showing she loves us--and it's wonderful :)
